Default Is the larger pine bark mulch available in bags?

I’ve searched TOTV for mulch and pine bark mulch but have not found any mention of the larger pieces of pine bark mulch available by bag. Does anyone know if it’s available. I know landscapers purchase it by the yard and bring it in their trailers. The big box stores all seem to carry the shredded variety which is pretty but impractical.I’m looking for the larger pieces of bark.

I always use pine bark nuggets, and get them from Lowes. They come in two colors I believe - a natural brown and red-dyed. I wouldn't waste money on the dyed, it looks horrible once it starts to fade.

It is actually a waste product from lumber harvesting. If, you can find cedar the wood is resistant to rotting so I expect the bark is as well.

Try Ace Hardware in Wildwood, they have nicer bark than Lowes (IMHO).
They'll also deliver larger quantities at a very reasonable cost
I think it's $15 for a pickup truck load and $25 for a larger truckload (prices may be outdated!!). Have fun.

Pine bark has a natural waxy coating that makes it resistant to mold. Pine also acts as an insect repellant to some insects. It is more durable than cedar and will hold its composition much longer.
