Default Last day to pay property taxes for max discount

Just a reminder....

Today, Thurs 12/3, is the last day you can pay your property taxes (Sumter County) to get the maximum 4% discount. You can drop a check off in person at the Sumter County annex on 466/Morse Blvd. Discount declines on 12/31 and each month thereafter until the full amount is due on 3/31/10.

I don't know what deadlines Lake and Marion county have....

Probably the same since this is a Florida thing.

Marion County - 4% November, 3% December, 2% January, 1% February, 0% March, Delinquent in April

Thanks a bunch for the reminder. We can all depend on Villages07.

We paid our taxes yesterday. A good chance to save a few dollars.

We paid our share of taxes at closing on a resale in Oct. However we have not received a tax bill. When did bills go out and do they send a receipt?
