I have neighbor who had grandkids visiting and asked permission to come over to trick or treat.

Same as the first two replies. We're starting our fourth year. Nothing the first three years - some friends have had grandkids and kids of their VERY close friends (if you're real lucky).

I believe that the Daily Sun publishes a notice before Halloween stating that trick or treating in housing areas is not allowed. However, I think that a lot of the merchants in the squares have treats for the little monsters.

Every year I go to Trunk Or Treat at the New Covenant Methodist Church (same road as Crisper's off 466). It takes place from around 5pm - 7pm. The date is announced as it gets closer to Halloween. Golf carts and cars park in the parking lot and the kids go from cart to cart trick or treating. It's really fun and very safe for the kids. Of course, you do get some older kids and even a few parents have the nerve to take also. All in all it fun though.

No trick or treaters that I've ever seen. There is also "Trunk or Treat" at Village View Church in Summerfield. Bet alot of churches do this...alot safer and just as fun!

The Villages use to do trick or treat at Spanish Springs. It was really cool and many children came.

We have been very lucky, none for over 6 years! If we do have "trick or treaters" then maybe we should start wondering where they're coming from and how they're getting here. Most residents grandchildren, mine included, are from out of the area and would not be here that time of the year.
