Default Laundry room cabinets

I have a Topaz patio villa and I'd like to hang 3 cabinets above our washer and dryer. We have the appliances in the closet off the kitchen with the bifold doors. Have any of you done this? If so, where did you find the cabinets, cupboards? Thanks in advance.

I have done this is a kitchen back up north, so here are some words of caution.
Generally, in locations where the builder knows cabinets are going to be mounted, they install plywood for the mounting screws. You probably do not have this installed, so no matter where you get the cabinets, you will need to locate the studs for mounting these. Now the bigger problem, many houses have METAL studs for interior walls. These require special hardware for mounting items, and IMHO I would double up the mounting bolts, or install plywood strips one ate the top of the cabinets and one at the bottom with multiple connections to the metal studs. If you have wood studs, I would still use as many screws as possible.

I forgot to add, Lowes, Home depot, there is a cabinet store on 44 in Leesburg.

If you have enough depth just run horizontal 1x6's top and bottom, will be much easier to mount the cabinets to the 1x6's than directly to the studs. Lowes or Home Depot or any cabinet store will have a budget line that will work for you.

Default Moving washer and dryer inside house?

Instead of adding cabinets, has anyone moved the washer and dryer inside the house?

I mounted 2x4s across the area I wanted the cabinets. Securely fastened them to the metal studs. Then just mounted the cabinets to the 2x4s.

Michael and Tiffany (The Villages Experience) have an Emerald Patio Villa. In that laundry space behind bi-fold doors in the kitchen, they instead used a stackable washer/dryer, which freed up the space to put a wire storage rack that holds a ton of stuff. Here, they did a video on it:

Hope this helps!

Which means you got to move the plumbing, drain, and dryer vent in house. IMO not worth cost when just put clothes in washer and dryer and then take them out. Plus, move the noise in house.
