If don't have at least 10 flags made in China of course you do not love America.

Last time I looked, this is America, and the American flag should be honored and displayed. Nothing political about it..

Memorial day is to remember those who died in battle. Putting up those silly cheap flags makes the person feel better about themselves and a show of faux patriotism.

So the vast majority of all Americans love to show faux patriotism?!? At least they show some sort of patriotism…instead of calling the flag “silly”.

beeneyra 05-30-2021 08:57 AM

Memorial Day! Some gave, some gave all.

Have we finished embarrassing the OP yet? I think once was enough.

Ohhhhh, sorry! I can't believe anyone is that dense! But a good way to get a thread started.

That is a funny comment. I think it was an honest question from a newbie.

Back to the original poster, there are several sources for the "lawn flags" both locally and via Internet. Buy a quantity of them and place them where you wish on your property. My opinion - don't go for the small ones that are almost toys. Get the ones with a 2 to 2 1/2 foot stick. They look better (again, my opinion). I would also buy more than needed since sooner or later the stick will break, the flag material will fade/tear. Nice to have replacements on hand for quick replacement. You'll have many patriotic holidays to proudly show our flag.

Great answer.

lots of guys talking about finally getting some respect , VETS it’s not your holiday, it’s to honor the dead , and I don’t need any respect from strangers the only respect I ever needed was the RESPECT of the guys I fought with , maybe if more thought like that they could stop whining how little respect they got when they came home or no parade or no one cares about us

Yes, we buy them and display them with pride.

If it is political, that disturbs me but is their "right" - either way, I have no problem with it.

To directly answer your question, I assume they put them up themselves.

It's Memorial Day. Why would you bring up politics? Speaks volumes.
