Default Lawn Service Problems

We are having problems with a lawn service company that we paid a year in advance. One problem after the other. Problems with their service and their attitude! We would like to part ways but they are saying they don't give refunds. Any ideas on how we can get away from this treatment?

Let us guess....Stellar/Service Smart. You'll have to get in line, so far, nobody has gotten a refund on their pre paid agreement.

Contact the BBB, and Seniors against crime for additional advice, and do not be afraid to contact the Attorney General. If nothing else when the vendor starts getting these calls maybe they will straighten up their act.

By chance, do you have Superior Services of Ocala? We have had them for 3 years with no problem until recently. Ask for a pro-rated refund and was denied. I found that Superior is not a member of BBB but, go to the BBB website and read the one entry regarding Superior....I cannot imagine contracting with them after reading it.

Wow, Looks like, as with everything else, you have to do your research when selecting a lawn care company.

Yep, The Villages is Fort Apache and we must keep our powder dry at all times.

I have absolutely no connection, but I find it ironic we are discussing lawn care services when one of the biggest advertisiers on TOTV is a lawn care service. I wonder if the original poster saw this banner ad? Maybe he should have called....

Why in the world would anyone pay a year in advance for any type of service ??
