Just spent an hour reading the Daily Sun. It then dawned on me that this paper could have been written a week ago and put to bed for this New Years edition.
There was not ONE iota of any news of the nation or world!
Now I know many of you will tell me to subscribe to the Orlando Sentinel for real news and that is exactly what I am going to do.
Now my newspaper recycling bin is going to be twice as high.

Most news in print isn't new news. With 24 hour news television and 24 hour Internet news access, newspapers just don't stand a chance. We are made aware immediately of events throughout the world all day long. Having said all that, I do understand that some would rather read world news, even if things have changed since the paper went to press.

The Daily Sun does provide information about what is going on in the area....more of a local paper than a national one. Remember, there are also other papers around that might provide you with the type of press you like.
Personally, I enjoy the Daily Sun. My computer keeps me aware throughout the day of just what happening locally, in the country and globally.

Our local paper isnn't even being printed today. At least you are getting a paper!

I like the Daily Sun for printing the events around TV.

In addition to TDS, go FOX, CNN, etc.

I personally like the lighthearted stories that are printed in TDS, as opposed to who killed who, who raped who, wars, natural disasters, etc.

The new column now appearing in the Daily Sun. Phyllis Schlafly, lawyer, conservative political analyst and author. I have not seen a liberal column.

We went to a really great party last night, at the Laurel Manor, Food Great, Entertainment The Best, The People Even Better. Got home at about 12:45 AM, and our daily Sun was there waiting for us, I am sure that it was printed very early, and it was delivered very early, I do hope that the people that work there had a chance to bring in the new year, as well. I will catch up on all the news on TV (Television) Today.

lol, I went out front at midnight and today's paper was in my drive way. I don't subscribe to the Daily News for real news. It's cheap and it keeps me informed of Villages happenings. I have online subscriptions to the Sentinel and the Fla Times Union (Jax) for real news.
