Nope. My irrigation pipes are white. But obviously some homes have pink irrigation pipes.

"In Florida, pipes carrying reclaimed, recycled, or other non-potable water for irrigation are required to be purple. The purple color standard is a critical safety measure to prevent accidental cross-connections with the potable (drinking) water supply. Florida's purple pipe identification rules: Color coding: All non-potable distribution piping must be purple. The Florida Building Code specifies that the color purple (Pantone 522C) shall be used to identify reclaimed, rain, and gray water distribution systems." I have seen contractors install an irrigation system filter aboveground using white pipe. This may be a violation of the Florida code. Last edited by retiredguy123; Today at 06:49 AM. |

The only reason for the pink PVC is to indicate non-pottable water so a plumber, irrigation person or anyone else doesn't mix them up. Either way, I've seen a few homes where the irrigation joints failed over time because when they build these homes, sometimes they rush and mess up the joints. If they fail you will definetly notice it. |

I was in my side yard yesterday and was also walking in a soggy area. It was right near where the dripper for my interiorAC unit drains. Look for that pipe if it is nearby, all you have to do is fix your hole in the lawn.
