Default Let's welcome the new Lady Lake Library Director.

Marsha Brinson has been hired as the new director of the Lady Lake Public Library.
She is a resident of Lady Lake. She has been the youth services director at the Leesburg Public Library.
This story quote is from the Other source of Villages internet news. Google "Marsha Brinson and Lady Lake Library" and it should come up.

I have talked briefly with the new Lady Lake Library Director, Marsha Brinson, but never about anything other than the books I was checking out, computer usage, etc. This was while she was at the Belvedere Library that I interacted with her.

The Lady Lake Library is the one I use almost every week so I hope to have some more meaningful discussions with their new Library Director. The people at the Lady Lake Library have always been extremely friendly to me over the perhaps seven years I have been going there.

Hope everyone will welcome the new Lady Lake Library Director to her new position. http://ladylakelibrary.com/

Marsha was the library director at the Belvedere library for many years so I know her well. She was always helpful to me whenever I had a question. Will things be different at a bigger library? Will she have to spend more time in her office and less time with patrons? That remains to be seen.

We will have to see. I did not have much of any interactions with the Lady Lake Library Directors before. My push for the FL Victims Services Directory link was directed at the web person of the Lake County Library System. She/he directed me to a very complicated search engine which I believe you would need a reference librarian to really use well. http://myfloridalegal.com/directory

What I would like to talk to her about is her contacting victim/witness providers in the Lake/Sumter/Marion/Orange County area and asking them what they would like to see in public library web-sites in their region. Maybe, she is already familiar with my efforts though???

I did this in 2000. I mean contacting victim/witness providers and asked them what they would like to see in public libraries. This was part of my 224 613 project. With Facebook,Twitter and other technological advances since 2000 though these providers might want something I had not foreseen.
