Default LH Golf Club Demos - What to Do?

I have rented a house in Belvedere for 3 weeks in Aug and hoped to be able to demo golf clubs with the intention of purchasing. I am primarily interested in getting Adams A7os hybrids. I am LH.
Many on this site have suggested going to the Custom Golf Shop at Palmers Legend to demo different clubs, be custom fitted, and make a selection. I spoke to them today and they indicated that they do not have any men's LH clubs for demo, only 1 set of women's clubs.
I cannot play RH clubs...as i am LH.
Any suggestions? Any other place that I can demo clubs to purchase.

Check out the pro shop at treetops on rolling acres rd just south of 466. If they don't have what you are looking for, i'll bet they can point you in the right direction.

BigEast,

Try Edwin Watts Golf. They have a store in TV and several in Orlando. I would think they could hook you up.

Go Huskies!

Thanks everyone. I got a call from the Pro Club Shop today and they indicated that they contacted Adams and they are going to bringva LH A7os senior clubs to their demo day next week which they will leave for me for when I arrive 8/8. They said best upon my swing analysis they will be able to tell me if I need senior or regular shafts as well as regular or max set.

Now this question is on what courses does everyone suggest I demo the clubs assuming I will try to play about 10 times during the month. I am looking to fully try to experience The Villages.

You may have more people read your post if you spelled out left handed in the title. I'm left handed and had no idea what LH was. Sorry I can't help with finding demos, like most lefties I ended up playing right handed. Good luck with your search.

I also play LH and find that attending the demo days is some help but if you want to check out LH clubs to play, the pickings are slim. The staff at the club shop is very helpful but they are limited to what is on hand. You may want to get a club fitting at the club shop and then start working from there.

Larry,

I would try a smorgasbord of courses.... both Executive (E) and Championship (C). I live south of 466, so some of my exec recommendations will have that bias. We go all over for the championship courses, but tend to play the execs nearer to home - that four letter word (WORK!) gets in the way sometimes.

1. First warm up - Turtle Mound (E). It is "easy" in some ways, but fairly open and good practice.

2. Follow that up with Bogart, Sandhill, Redfish Run or Bonita Pass. (all E)

3. For a first championship course I would pick Orange Blossom (up in the historic side), or Mallory. If you play Mallory, don't start on Caroline - she is anything but "sweet".

4. Other championship courses we really like: Havana, Lopez, Palmer, Glenview. We also like the others - but there have been issues with greens/fairways. There is a thread on course conditions - I would check it out.

5. Other execs we really like - Pelican (challenging!), Heron, Yankee Clipper (it is 18 now; will likely be split into two 9's in August with Southern Star being the other half), Truman and Roosevelt. All the execs have ratings as to level of difficulty. You can download that at Golf the Villages.

Thanks Kate..that is a help...I'm staying in Belvedere so I assume I am not that far from you so your course suggestions should be a big help.
You might be former neighbor of mine as I am in Avon and pass East Granby all the time on my way to BDL.
I'll be driving to TV from CT. Do you find the 81 route to be better than going down 95?

Hubbie is also lefthanded and upgraded to the Adams A70s clubs during Golf Fest this year. He said he hit them better than the newer V3's which were $300-$400 more.

He loves them.... if you're looking for an inexpensive set to hold you over or use as a spare down here, he is selling his older set -- cheap!!
