I applied for the class action settlement concerning gas line fire problem. I received a voucher for partial reimbursement for a LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM. Now the question --- has any one done the same and obtained a contractor to do the installation. I am interested in contractor names, prices, opinion of workmanship, and any other help anyone can provide.

Bill.....did you ever proceed with this? I am in the same situation and not sure whether this is worth it or not. I suspect that the payment from the class action suit will only cover part of the cost .....also feel the "protection" may not be that extensive. In my mind the right way would be to replace the piping but probably not practical.....
