Default Like the design of the new bridge

I saw the artists drawing in the Sun of the new golf cart bridge to be constructed across the Florida’s Turnpike. It looks like we will all be flying across the bridge to see from on high and to be seen. I like it!

It does not look like the old cow path. But I only got to see it on Facebook.

The cattle bridge is located about 2 miles south of CR468, the bridge in today's paper will be located about a mile north of CR468.

I was very impressed by the information and pictures in the 4-page insert today. As far as the future for TV, all I can say is WOW!

Should be interesting when they stop the traffic on the turnpike to put it in.

No traffic stopping.
I recall a detour (one night Northbound, then one night Southbound) when they placed the beams for the new Rt 468 bridge (Morse Blvd) 3 or so years ago.

This is a minor detail but it was discussed at the March 13 Sumter County Commission meeting.

At its next meeting (March 26), the Sumter County Commission will vote on whether to rename two portions of CR 468 that run by the Village of Fenney and other areas of The Villages’ southern expansion.

If the name changes are approved, CR 468 will be renamed as a continuation of Morse Boulevard from SR 44 southward to a yet-to-be-constructed roundabout east of Florida’s Turnpike, and as Warm Springs Avenue from that roundabout westward to US 301.

Since Warm Springs Avenue appears in today's 4-page insert, I think I know how the vote will go.

The information provided in the paper this morning should put an end to the speculation of what, where, if, et al.

It certainly deflates the often stated isolation of Fenney.

Fenney and points south will be no more "isolated" from TV than Mulberry and points north.

Very consistent planning, forethought and implementation by the developer. Excellent marketing info/tool.

We have yet to be surprised and pleased at the retail that will eventually follow in and around the planned areas.

All I can say is that I am so excited to be living in Fenney fulltime within the next few years. Since we purchased our home in November, there have been such wonderful progress made to the area. Looking forward to seeing all the changes in person the next time we visit.

For those not in TV, here is a link to the Daily Sun article: The Dedication to Making Dreams Come True Continues | Growth | thevillagesdailysun.com

It lists, but does not show the details that are are in the insert. The insert is too large to scan - it's 4 full pages.

And we're excited too Brenda to be living right down the street from you and seeing all the changes coming.

Makes our decision to stop renting our home in Fenney and move there this fall all the better! We originally thought we'd be renting out our home for a few yrs before deciding, but 2 months of renting is enough...we want to move there permanently. We miss it.

Still no talk of another town square - anyone estimate how long it will take by golf cart from Fenney to Brownwood. Also has anyone got a count of how many championship courses are going in. I like the variety of new activities planned. Might be fun to go to the dog park and watch Fido run the obstacle course.

According to the newspaper, bridges by 2020.
Championship courses only one mentioned so far.
They'll only say/announce just enough to get plans approved by the local government, anything more is tipping their hat too much and would impact their costs.
We'll just have to wait and see what the future brings. I'm shocked they've said as much as they have in the newspaper today. Of course releasing the planned connection between Fenney and the rest of TV can only help and not hurt sales going forward.

I agree.
As I posted earlier, the Fenney bashing is getting old.

Why would an estimate make any difference?
