Thumbs up

This is exactly why new home sales numbers are so important when they're released every month. Every new home sale creates three jobs. TV is certainly helping the economy improve.

We closed on our house on Jan. 22 and we had tenants coming on 2/1. I had about 10 days to get everything on the list for homes in the Villages Rental program. We went to Walmart - my husband, my sister and I - and we each got 2 carts. All the carts were filled and then we went home and waited for the furniture we'd ordered to arrive. Then we went to different stores to find everything else on the list. Whew! Thank goodness my sister was helping because I'd had hand surgery 3 days before we came down and had a cast from my hand to my elbow.

Happened to me after we moved here. Was at Wal-Mart for the umpteenth time picking up odds and ends for the new house and my card was denied! How embarrassing! I insisted they call my CC company cause I knew I wasn't anywhere near my limit. Sure enough, they thought all the recent activity meant it had been stolen!!! Gotta give the CC company credit for being on the ball! LOL!

We haven't even got there yet and in a new villa we put in brazilian wood floors, are having it all painted, changed out all the appliances to stainless steel, bought a huge swimspa, building a birdcage, closing in the lanai to a Florida room with sliders and windows and wood floors and drywall, had window trim done throughout, installing two dog doors, and ordering a blow up mattress, two pillows, one blanket and two fold up chairs so I can stay there when I visit until we move.I haven't even thought about furniture yet...for indoors or out.
Good thing I am still working....
