Does anyone have a recommendation on wood flooring installers as I'm looking to install the flooring before I move in

Be careful with the flooring, some of this does not like water, and if you get a leak, you could have a very expensive repair. We installed a Mohawk Luxury Vinyl plank flooring (to replace all the carpet), and this is a 100% vinyl product that is 100% waterproof, also it is almost as quiet as carpeting and nowhere as noisy as tile. I did the install myself, as this product cuts with a box cutter and does NOT use any underlayment, around $2.50 per square foot, I highly recommend. I bought this at Lowe's.

We removed all carpeting prior to move-in. Blackton was helpful with expert advice and quality work.

villagetinker has some good advise vinyl flooring has come a long way RE looks , durability, ease of install, (put down a couple myself) having said that the natural beauty of wood is hard to beat, certainly a solid wood floor would be a very questionable choice, engineered wood flooring has made much progress, the higher end products are just beautiful, and remarkedly tough and wear resistant,, good luck

We used Roberto Flooring in Oxford. They worked with us through a flooded rental house house that we had only one month to get the renter back in. This was during the time when supplies were really scarce. When they could not get the flooring we wanted, they agreed to do the install only if we could find flooring. They did a GREAT install AND they had a cleaning service come in after the install and clean they house!!

Roberto is a family business and the installers work for the company, not sub contractors.
