That place looks interesting even if they don’t have what I want.

I calculated buying it, packaging it, and shipping overnight and it would probably cost $20 a pound. I guess I’ll have to substitute something else.
Don't give up on buying and shipping. It took me a couple of years before I found a real British butcher with decent shipping. I get free shipping after I spend $95 and delivery is within three days. There must be other Hungarian people here who have overcome this. Good luck.

Today it just happens that I am waiting at home, and as I am a retired researcher I thought I would take a look for you. I found something very promising: magyadeli.com in Englewood, FL. They are an online Hungarian Food Store and look very interesting.

When I did the search I typed in Hungariaan foods shipped and brought up several companies that ship across the country. Just make sure you check out their shipping prices.

Just called, and they said that they have it. If it’s what I’m used to I’ll be a happy guy. Thanks again for all the help.

Default Polish Store, Leesburg

Polish Deli 1322 W N Blvd, Leesburg,
Was there yesterday- very busy this time of year and also at Easter. Waited 3 hours. Very small store, but their sausages are Hungarian etc. All homemade.even though called Polish Store.only open Wednesday through Saturday year round, except close for 2 weeks vacation.

Default Try your hand at making it yourself.

Here is a recipe.

Homemade Hungarian Sausage a family recipe by guest Chef Peter

You can use a food processor in place of the meat grinder, I'm sure they use all these pieces of pork when their making a large batch but I'm sure if you bought a pork butt it will have a good mix of meat to fat. If you don't have the means to stuff the casings just use the sausage as is in your recipe, you might be surprised at how well you do. Order the spice online and give it a go.

Good luck, I hope you can continue your tradition.

We were there this morning to get our Christmas kielbasa. Line was out the door.

And they did have Hungarian sausage available.
