Default Cubes Packed

The cubes are packed. This is our last night in our house here in California, leaving for The Villages this Friday with my Dad (82) and two Yorkies. The husband is heading out Wednesday, he'll be checking the trails for us.

Before leaving we will be saying our good-byes to our grandson (22months) and a brand new granddaughter. Several people have questioned why we would leave our grandchildren? This week I'm questioning this too. But we really love The Villages, the active lifestyle and people. Plus, they have airplanes flying to California on a regular basis. Go figure.

Here we come, it's been a long year, our dreams are coming true. However, moving sucks.

See yea all real soon.

Leaving the kids and grandkids is hard but when they see your life here in TV, they'll be so happy for you.
And yes there are airplanes and SKYPE !
Hurry here, you'll love it.

Hurry home, Sweetie!

You're right, moving isn't the easiest thing to do...but you'll get through this with ease.

Skype, Facetime, planes, trains, automobiles...all ways for us to stay in touch with those who are near and dear to us.

Have a safe trip! The lights are on!

DEAR HOO!

I am glad for you and sad for you, but I think you have done the right thing. I would guess that all of us have churning emotions when we leave the place that we have known for a long time and the people that we love and so we do understand and hurt for you.

Skype is wonderful and so will be all the time you are going to be hanging out in Disneyland.

Here is a hug to get you through this week and another is waiting when you arrive.

Welcome home dear!

You will feel better when you get here.

Kindest wishes always,

Gracie

Settled? We're in Hadley, the first Village on your right heading north from 466a on Morse. As for golf, we'll have to talk!

We'll have to give Jeanette a First Watch treatment after she gets down here!
