Default Any Spanish speakers in the area?

Hi! I'm new to the forum.
I am trying to get my parents to move to The Villages from Chile but the one hurdle I need to overcome is that neither speaks English. My dad speaks Italian and Spanish, my mom just Spanish.
Are there any Spanish speaking groups I could learn more about? I just want to make sure that they'll be able to communicate with at least some of the residents.
Thanks in advance!

There are many Spanish speakers in the Villages as well as some Italian. I'd look to hire someone to help with your parents managing the tasks of moving to the Villages. Maybe some Spanish speakers will send you some private messages.

Also I would contact these people here in the Villages-- the villages spanish american club - Home

I only know the bad words and a little Spanglish. Enough to get a cup of coffee. That's all.

I took a year of Spanish from a Stanford training Spanish teacher at the College of San Mateo at night while working at Information Access Company but my Spanish is quite rusty. And I hung around with a bunch of Spanish speakers at the U of MN in the dorm I was staying at but they often talked too quickly for me.

I do eavesdrop of the many Spanish speaking workers in the Villages and can often understand much of what they are probably saying as I have a context to work with there.

I think anyone that is moving to the Villages should start acquiring some English skills and they are many online resources for Spanish speakers to learn some English. The 5 best sites to learn English online?? | SpanishDict Answers

I am a member of the SpanishAmerican club.
It is mostly a social club.
Many members of this club are spouses / partners who do not speak Spanish....
