Default What are your interests?

Living here in the Villages provides the opportunity to do lots of different things. Right now, my primary interests are my Honda Goldwing motorcycle, Travel, Golf and keeping our various busninesses going (including TOTV). What are your interests. I'll bet you are doing some really interesting things.

Golf, bowling, pickleball, bass fishing. For bass fishermen: try the lake on El Camino right across from the Hospital. (Where the aqua driving range used to be).

As you know, I'm not yet in TV. I hope to enjoy golf (if I can ever learn to play).

Does anyone know if there is a Civil War Roundtable in TV, or nearby? I know there are Civil War reenactors in the area, but I no longer do Civil War reenacting. I do maintain my interest in the period, however.

I don't know about a roundtable, but we belong to the Civil War Club here in The Villages. Barb

Golf, fly fishing, intellectual banter, philosophy, regligion, politics.......hey....isn't golf and fly fishing kinda like religion and philosphy.....just a thought. I think it was in the opening chapter of "A River Runs Through It"...."in our house, there was a fine line between religion and fly fishing." A similar thing could be said about golf.

We both enjoy reading, and anything to do with boating and sailing.

I love knitting and stitching, mostly needlepoint , have taught both. Now am now exploring beading , hence my log in name "beady"

Can't wait to get to TV and take some classes at the CLL and join some clubs.

Should be there by Thanksgiving with any kind of luck!!!

Motorcycles, ham radio, dogs, W.E.B. Griffin books, veterans issues ('Nam especially) and anything related to homeland security....

THE FUN NOW STARTS - "Retirement" commences in April '09, but will be at TV every 8 weeks for 8-10 days starting the end of September. Returning home to FL after 3+ years in the DC area is like a dream coming true.
