I walk around loop there daily. IMO that better lot than two that being built on right now. The big duplex one was up for sale about year or so ago for 2 mil plus no horse barn, just big yard and big drainage easement in back. Looks like only 1 or maybe 2 actually have horses.

Don’t forget about hefty monthly fees. Those horse farms not in district 4, they in there own district and have own rules which good IMO.

Any names we would recognize from the field?

Even if you one of those lots, can you have horses or cows or pigs? Does the deed allow farm animals

If you’re paying 500,000 for the lot, then building the house, barn, buying the horses, you are not worried abou the monthly fees

If you google Chatam Acres in The Villages. All the info comes up. The last sale there was for 1.8 million.
Check it out.

When one of the houses was up for sale, the ad in the paper said "zoning restrictions allow for horses and chickens."

There is a whole level of the villages that is not offered to the average Joe. Includes premium lots, private vip clubs, and all kinds of things the middle class can't imagine.

Yep. One lot left for $549,000 in an area behind Soulliere Villas. The lot actually backs to that pool/postal station, off CR42.

The 7 lots that were originally for sale were an experiment, which I don’t think worked out as well as hoped. They have taken years to sell & as one can see, are still not all sold.

At 70% plus profit they can afford to wait. Only one or two lots left.

Maybe make them an offer they can’t refuse!

That area is within the Villages and beautiful. The prices are very reasonable considering they are 5 acre lots. Resale are rare, but again reasonable considering they have beautiful new homes and barns, plus most are cross fenced.
