Default Lovebugs!!!

Here"s the answer to why these pests swarm near the tunnels---"Love bugs" are drawn to the highways by light and automobile fumes. Another reason to buy electric carts!

Interesting. We bought gas yesterday, and I noticed how MANY love bugs were hanging around the gas pumps. I was surprised because I thought they would be repelled by the gas fumes....guess not! Thanks for that bit of info gatherer47.

Very True.

I fired up the Stihl leaf Blower and was swarmed. Also another lesson learned. Do not have stone landscape or driveways sealed with concrete sealer the petroleum base.

Ours was done we looked out and you could not see thru the bugs. They love the fumes and also love to breath em and dye in the applied product.

It all has to be scraped off and re-applied when the critters are gone.

I tried rubbing a dryer sheet lightly across the cars hood dry. The scratching sound and feel was terrible. I wonder even if wet if you are doing more damage than good?

You will find when you move here that the carts that are stranded are electric.

P.S. We have one of both.

Using a dry dryer sheet will scratch the finish the same way a dry sponge will. Dampen the surface of the car and dampen the dryer sheet for good and safe results. Try it...you might like it!

Default Another vote for Bounce sheets

We tried it when we got down and it worked beautifully. Just wet the sheet and then rinsed off the bounce residue. What a great solution. Thanks to someone on TOTV for the suggestion.
