Default Opening of new Performing Arts Center

Is there a projected date for the opening of the new Performing Arts Center at Spanish Springs? Just wonder if it will be ready for the 2015 winter season.

This will be a nice addition to the "arts" in The Villages.

There are only 67 parking spots in back of the center. It holds close to 1000 and usually have 2 shows. In fall i want to see 2 sold out shows and rocky and the rollers a the square on vendor night. Maybe someone knows something i don't know.

There seems to be an adequate supply of parking in the area. Might have to walk further than 100 yards, though. Oh well.
Drop off those with disabilities close to the door, then go park. Might have to get there 5 minutes earlier to accomplish this.

Default Oh Yea of little faith.....

Don't yell. PLEASE don't criticize.

I think the Morses will figure it all out. They always do.

Checked all of the posts and I see no yelling - just conversation. Where do you see yelling?

With all of the other activities going on in SS, I see very little available parking ...unless the gendarmes come out and reserve all of the parking for the events at the Sharon Morse Performing Arts center.

There isn't any yelling. I was only saying that because I was gonna say yet another positive thing about the Morse family and some get annoyed at me and say I work for them.

I still say...somehow it will work. Wait and see. They usually know how to solve all problems. There may be a parking garage somewhere near there if needed.

Actually I have attended The Church on the Square performances with a full house and had no problem finding parking. The new Cener is not that much larger.

Because the buildings block the sight of a lot of the parking it appears less than what it really is. I suspect that the Developer of this project has a plan if the parking proves to be an issue. Our plan is to just enjoy!

I look into my crystal ball and I see the solution. This kind of shuttle was used behind the Spanish Springs real-estate office before it moved to its current location.

The Villages Regional Hospital just received 3 new similar shuttles.
