Smile A Special Thank You To KathieI

I for one would like to say Thank You To KathieI.

We attended our first luncheon in March '08 and were greeted by Kathie. Since then until just recently Kathie has been the organizer, greeter and supplier of name tags.

So I think a special Thank You is in order for keeping the tradition alive for all the newbees and visiting wannabees.

Thank You KathieI!

PS Great idea about volunteering and sharing the load!

The shouldering of all that is the Crispers luncheonne should not solely be handled by KathieI. KathieI also took it upon herself to take pictures and post them. I remember some people giving her grief in a kidding way when they weren't posted.

Another big thank you for KathieI for all you do.

Hi Mayor, I hope all is well with you.

Thanks, Veronica! I certainly enjoyed meeting you and Bob and look forward to seeing you again next time. And I am sure I will see you on TOTV.

Hi Wendyquat,

Please try us in February. I am volunteering to be the spokesperson and get things organized for our meeting including name tags. I believe there will be one person or couple who volunteers their services for each month, I hope.

Hi Mayor, I hope all is well with you.
I totally agree that Kathie needs a big Thank You hug. She volunteered for years to make the TOTV luncheons welcoming for all. I'm so pleased we now have new volunteers to carry the tradition forward!

There certainly is a lot of enthusiasm and excitement when you buy in a new neighborhood. I'm so pleased for all of you starting on your new lives! And let's not forget the Newbies who've bought pre-owned homes in older neighborhoods. Congratulations to you all.

You misunderstood. I was saying DON'T bring in popcorn because it is a business selling food and drink.

Looks like my suggestion took off - glad to see you jump in there Mike and Nancy. Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise, we will plan on attending and seeing everyone.

Thank you, Gail and others. I was very happy to pick up the responsibility when I moved here but as I started to get busy in TV with my personal events, it was hard for me to keep up with the responsibility of being the organizer. I am very happy that others have volunteered to take up the responsibility on a monthly rotation and I would be extremely happy to do anything I can to assist them. I still have some name tags and the TOTV Lunch sign and the log in sheet for attendance.

I also set up special Meet and Greets for those who are in town but can't make it to Crispers. We can continue to do that, but seeing that I am not on TOTV as much as I used to be, it would be good for someone to recognize that need as well.

Thanks all. See ya at next months lunch. I will be there.

I'd like to thank you too, Kathie!! I've been following along ever since the first meet and greet! As a future Villager, it was so much fun to hear about the gatherings and see the pics, and I appreciate all the time you invested to share that part of TV with us!!

You might not remember (but I do!!!) the time you had organized a meet and greet at LSL and tried to coordinated everyone to be at the clock tower in order to wave at those of us looking in via the web cam....LOL. I rushed home to make sure I was watching the web cam. Hubs thought I was crazy LOL. He might have been right.
