Default How can I find the rec centers for my neighborhood

We will be in Gilchrist.

I am wondering what Family Pool, Regional Rec Center and Sports pools will be closest to us.

TIA

dotti, I looked on The Villages - Florida's Friendliest Retirement Hometown - New Home Sales, Home Resales, Build Your Dream Home, Brownwood Paddock Square, clicked on the recreation tab, clicked on "recreation centers," scrolled down the page to "recreation downloads", clicked on "recreation map", and a map appears showing all the rec centers and pools.

Family Pools: looks like there is one next to the Bradenton Rec. Center; also another family pool is at Big Cypress Rec Center on the other side of Buena Vista Blvd. Manatee Village Center will have a Family pool, but that rec. center may not be open yet. Someone who lives south of 466A can post on that.

Regional Rec Centers: Eisenhower (but that may not be open yet -- someone who lives south of 466A can post whether or not it is open).

Sports Pools: Eisenhower Regional Rec. Center will have one -- don't know if it is open yet. Colony Cottage Regional Rec Center just north of 466A has a Sports Pool. Sea Breeze Regional Rec Center also has a Sports Pool.

Eisenhower is in the "being finished" stage and should be open very soon.

Workers are pushing the dirt around for Manatee - imagine it will be done shortly after the first of the year.
