Default Making Due....in Long Beach, NY

Good Morning Villagers !!

Met up with a Sunny, Saturday 1st of August for a 4-mile bike ride on the boardwalk. Surrounded by bikers, joggers, surfers, and volleyball champs. Now breakfast on the balcony. Does life get any better than this? Someday, when I moved to The Villages it will !!! But for now, I'm making due. Have a great day, all !!

Default Bet you don't have ...................

Sounds like a plan. I'll bet though you don't have snitches going around checking out the new doors or windows on your house and an architectural committee to make sure they are okay!!!

Or to have some frumpy senior citizen who has nothing better to do than sit at their front window all day with a pad and pencil and count just how many days your grandkids have visited you.

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"

Be a gentleman, remove your hat/cap when entering a building and dining out!

You're making do in a beautiful place, know it well.
If $$$ were not an issue would summer in Long Beach in an apartment on the boardwalk with a terrace with a view .
Enjoy!

I take it from your last posts that you live outside TV proper so therefore not a resident, at least IMO. And are also ticked about TV cause you can not find the type of job you moved here for. BUT the point is, if you don't like it leave. Most of us knew the rules and actually, I know this may be hard for you to believe but, "LIKE THEM!" Someday when you live in a neighborhood as a HOME OWNER and watch the area decline because of a few, which means your property value drops, your quality of life slips cause you have to put up with it cause YOU CAN"T DO ANYTHING TO STOP IT, you will appreciate what we have in TV. The Rules, covs, etc are one of the main reasons me and the wife bougth here.
Ok, I am off my soap-box.

Default Missing you all in TV.

Haven't ever been there but if Whalen thinks it is lovely, it is. She KNOWS lovely.

However, I was down in Paradise the last couple of weeks and it was VERY hot but still one heck of a lot of fun. I am back in Ohio, almost as hot, but somehow the magic isn't happening here.
sigh.

Default Whine

Along with your whine about rules your signature calls for removing one's cover, (hat, cap) in a place that serves food.
Would this not also be a "rule"?
