Default What WAS Kiwi

Sunday, Amity and I noticed a new Establishment on 27/441 just south of route 42. The name was Kiwi and there were a number of cars in the lot.
Today, it is a burned ruins. It is gone, only four badly charred and damaged cinder block walls.

There was nothing in the paper. Any idea what Kiwi was.

I have tried using sunbiz.org to find out exactly what Kiwi was in business for and the closes thing I can come up with is an internet cafe. But here is the interesting thing happening in the last few months on 441. In Ocala there is a business called Slots of Cash for Charity and in Belleview Cyber Cafe, both located on 441 and both are doing video poker. I am guessing by the number of cars in the lot the other day at Kiwi that they very well could have been a video poker business. Of course all profits go to charity. I don't know this to be fact, but pure speculation.

The building you referred to was indeed a video casino, remember Coconuts? This was run by the same people who were thrown out of Coconuts, they did a very nice job with that old building, in fact, I was there on Friday night, and was startled out of my whatever when I saw it had burned, found out it burned at 1:59 AM on Tuesday of this week

Kiwi on 441 north of TV was a video poker parlor.
