Default Last night in TV

We've been in TV for five days, and have had a great time driving around and looking at homes. What we have missed is lots of mixing with locals who might be able to help us get more of a feel of the lifestyle at TV. It's been a little cool to witness pickelball and stuff like that. Any recommendations on where we can go tonight to talk to locals about living here? Thanks....

the bowling alleys and movie theatre lobbies may have some folks nipping in to warm up if it is too chilly in the squares - i believe it is market nite in spanish springs

Just strike up a conversation with anyone and say you are visiting on the Lifestyle Preview Plan. When we were on ours, everyone we spoke to was more than happy talk about TV. It almost sounded too good to be true... everyone had good things to say!

We started to wonder if there was something in the water! Alas, not... which is a good thing (I think).

If you like cards or games you could look up what is going on at the Rec Centers and pick one activity. I wouldn't pick Bunko or Bridge because there isn't as much time for chit-chat. We have found the most friendly people playing cards.

Default Dine at Country Clubs

It helps if you go the bar at any of the country clubs and have a drink. It's easy to start a conversation with anyone. Just say "we're visiting and wanted to talk with people about The Villages." You'll have difficulty getting away. The people really are friendly.

Hi, If you want to join us tonight at Havana CC, just PM me. We'll get there around 7pm, it will be myself, DickY and a few others. Or, come to the special Crispers lunch on Thursday and you can meet all of us there. Its posted under a different thread.

PM me if you have any questions. Kathie
