Go to www.thevillages.net, on the left side click on careers in the Villages.

I noted that there are 32 jobs listed today. That's many more than I've ever seen before. Also noted they are looking for a cashier for Katie Bell's catering. Didn't know they would have that after Katie Bell's closed.

I have noticed that there seems to be more job openings -- which I think is wonderful. I am looking to move to TV within the next year and will still need to work so I am continually keeping an eye on the job market in TV and surrounding areas. Bottom line, for me it is looking very hopeful that I will be able to move there and be able to find employment! Yeah!!1

That's actually the reason I posted it. It seems like many people moving here are thinking about working for a few years. In addition to the 32 jobs posted there were many more if you click on the Daily Sun link. Good luck and I hope you are moving soon!

Many of the jobs are listed because of a lot of turnover with minimum wages paid for most positions.
VCDD also lists a lot of same high turnover jobs at minimum wages paid. Their higher wage jobs are usually already promised to someone, but posted to make it look like they are really looking.
I know someone (not me) whose resume looked like job posting, but never got an interview even though job was posted twice in 6 months and he applied both times.
