Default Mystic Ice Cream Changes

When you have a good product and a great following, why would you change? Took our guests to Mystic Ice Cream tonight and much to our dismay, the waffle dish has been replaced by a styrofoam cup! What a disappointment! Homemade ice cream in a waffle dish for $6 was a fair price for a wonderful treat. Ice cream in a paper cup just isn't the same.

I didn't get the feeling that the owner "ran out of waffle cups". The styrofoam cups were line up on the counter with prices written on each size. Did not look like a temporary thing.

I went to Hag & Dog at LSL. Got the euro portion one dip cone and kiddy dip. Had to go to the bank and get loan to pay for it. No small portions of Ice cream worth 13 bucks to me. I made my one time donation. I visited Ken. space center got 4.50 ice cream cone and thought it was over priced. But, at least I got so some much cone and ice cream I couldn't eat it all. It was good deal compared to hag & dog.

Just tell the owner your thoughts. I am sure he will take your comments seriously.

We go to Blu Spoon in Rolling Acres Plaza and
Make our own soft yogurt sundaes, put whatever
Toppings you want, and pay by the ounce.
Delicious and reasonable.

Owner was not there tonight. Lady working there did not know why waffle bowls were exchanged for styrofoam cups.

How sad to go to styrofoam [emoji37] I truly hope this was just a snafu situation and not a new decision. by the owners. I protest if it is permanent.

Oops! the waffle cone was the best part. Maybe it's just temporary

Went there about 6 weeks ago with friends. No waffle cone bowl. Said they ran out that day. It was a weekend night. It was packed. We believed them. Guess not. Not returning if no waffle cone bowl. Wasn't the same in Styrofoam. The snow bird friends we were with had never been there and I wanted to take them there before they had to return north. They never know when to leave well enough alone.

We went a month ago and were surprised to get the ice cream in a styrofoam cup. Asked the owner what the deal was and he said "they were out". That waffle cup made the ice cream and for the price he could also just order waffle cups (I was told they made them not sure if that was true) and still make a profit. We were so sad because it's just not the same. Hope he gets some back in because the foam cup just doesn't do it.

Hag & Dog is a ripoff--you get the same product that's available in any super market

Huh, it was on my list of recommended places I wanted to go to here. Crossing Mystic off.

How long would a waffle cone last? Styrofoam lasts forever.

All about the money. Have you noticed you pay more and get less these days? Everything so expensive. We went to Peachtree last week and almost paid $12.00 for two cups of yogurt and mine had no toppings at all.
