Default Village swimming pools

Were looking to move to the villages in the near future. Can anyone tell me what the villages use in their swimming pools. Chlorine or are they the new ones that use salt. Thanks

Keithgerri, I can not speak about all the pools south of 466 but the ones I have swam in south of 466 are salt.

I am not sure if things have changed since Labor Day weekend of 2010. At that time ALL villages pools were sanitized with Chlorine. The reason I know is that we specifically asked because I have an allergery to chlorine. At first the sales folks thought there might have been one that was salt, but them called us back to make sure we were aware that all the pools used standard chlorination. Again, this may have changed since September...

At home we have a system that filters out chlorine. I cannot drink the water in many areas because the chlorine content is too high. It has been a big problem at times when we have travelled. Many times, the first stop we have before getting anywhere has been to pick up bottled water (and of course check the label on that water!) When in doubt I stick to ! lol
