Who is the CURRENT TOTV irrigation system service person/company of choice these days? Looked in the "landscape" section here but found nothing recent.

Been DIY for the last 5+ years but it's time I got some professional help. Wife keeps telling me that especially today on our 55th anniversary (thank you thank you ) Don't want to wait 6 months for service either.

Any recommendations? (Silly question! )

I use Massey. Not great, but, for $40 per quarter they will operate and adjust all sprinkler heads, will replace a few heads for free, and will be available to make repairs as needed. Their repair cost is very low compared to other companies, and they are usually available within a day or so when needed. I wouldn't want to be without a regular service.

We use a retired guy in our neighborhood. Would give out his name but he is not interested in taking on additional business these days.

Does a much better job than Massey ever did. Would ask around to see if you have such a neighbor.

I recommend Nick Poland of Villages Irrigation, LLC, (352) 235-0000.

It did take me 3 1/2 weeks to get an appointment, but it was worth it. I am now on his schedule for a visit every 4 months.
