Does anyone know whats going on at Pinellas Plaza?
There are two new construction sites on the strip between Walgreens and Marathon Gas Station.
Anyone know whats going to be built there?

Not sure if it is one of the two currently under construction, but Wells Fargo is moving its branch on 301 in Wildwood to The Plaza.

The construction site closest to Walgreens has a sign listing Bank of America coming. The site nearest the new gas station doesn't have any sign yet, as of yesterday they were still grading the land. This morning's newspaper construction update contains no information other than the Marathon station is nearing completion. I believe the station opens August 2nd.

Last week I e-mailed the writer who does the construction updates and he said until he gets word that a lease is signed he doesn't publish the information, even if a sign is posted on the property.

It will be another "Bankers Row " just like down on 466 on the other side of the villages. Hey I'm going to love it, I have 2 of those banks. But I'd like several more restuaratns thouhg. Like where's the Long John Silvers? I am Addicted to thosde crunchies. Is there a Cheese Cake Factory anywhere around?

Cheesecake Factory is usually attached to a mall. It would be nice but I don't see it happening. Did go to a B Spot restaurant this weekend owned by Michael Simon. Good food and great price for fresh burger. But they are staying close to ohio area due when their beef comes from.

I have accounts with Chase (from my time in Ohio), Bank of America (from my time in Georgia) and Citizens First (getting ready to be a full time Villager) and am in Pinellas. This is good news to me.

I think "banker's row" is a great idea. The Villagers are from so many places, it's nice to have them all together.

Now we just need a good place for breakfast down here in the boonies!
