Remember this song from 1971?

Signs?

"And the sign said "Long-haired freaky people need not apply"
So I tucked my hair up under my hat and I went in to ask him why
He said "You look like a fine upstanding young man, I think you'll do"
So I took off my hat, I said "Imagine that. Huh! Me workin' for you!"
Whoa-oh-oh"

Mel does a decent job at Cal’s Sumter Landing. Just my opinion but here in TV the barber shops try to put out a client every 15 minutes in most shops and that works with a few really good barbers but I’ve seen a number of poor quality haircuts in those short 15 minutes. For years my barber only took 3 clients an hour and the extra five minutes and 4.00/5.00 made a difference. Prior to retirement I was a bit more serious about my haircut. OP, men hair stylist are few in TV. I have a friend who goes to Bella Hair in Spanish Springs and another post recommended Katrina so maybe that’s the one. Good luck.

Eddie at Cal’s at Colony plaza. It is a barber shop but he is from Beverly Hills and can do all cuts. Super talented.

if anyone can recommend such a stylist, I would be grateful.

I use Fantastic Sams in Lake Deaton Plaza. Just got mine cut today and they did a great job. I also get a scissor cut.

The bald look with unsaved mighty popular. If don’t like that just let the hair grow on back if you’re neck.

I enjoy talking to and listening to older men and over the long lockdown, I became fairly good at cutting my husbands hair.

I really don't like for folks to be critical of old men.

I like them and especially mine.
nice post, all the best to you both

Brother you're old and no amount of hair changes that. Example is those that Dye their hair and those with a rug.

thanks for you're input. you don't know how old I am. I have a full head. I don't dye and I don't wear a rug.

sorry that you do?

don't be a hater. I asked for recommendations for a stylist, not smart-ass comments. have a nice day
