unisex baths
all single toilets/bathrooms should be designated as either. It's ridiculous to stand in line when the4re is a toilet open. Perhaps this lady had an immediate need, who knows but it shouldn't make a difference unless there is more than one toilet. The Villages and it's renters should make these changes. It would help they guys too on the golf courses. In Italy, regardless of number of toilets, they are unisex with floor to ceiling stalls, and everyone uses them then uses the same sinks. It works out very nicely and jeeps the line moving.

We’re I a woman, I would not want to use the Men’s Room. Sadly men, in many cases don’t even bother to lift the seat up if it’s a one seater restroom! They’ll pee on the seat and not care to clean up afterwards. When it comes to public restrooms many men are simply slobs! Sad but true!

Gender-designated washrooms
"]I do not understand why this would be a problem. If it's a room with one toilet and sink and locks why would anyone care?"
I agree; it is time for all public places where there are two washrooms that the washrooms be designated as unisex. Golfers have done this for years - men's day, line-ups for the men's, use the women's; women's day, line-up for the women's, use the mens. |

I agree, if I must go and there is a line at the men's room I suppose I can use the ladies room!

Yes, but when you have to go.... the absolute worst place ever that I came across was on the street across from the Moulin Rouge in Paris. I had taken my teenage daughter to the early show (more artistic, not porno as compared to later show). We tried to walk home but needed the facilities. I went in first. Only place I had to use a Kleenex to even touch the door handle. Everything, including the walls..... unbelievable. A little acrobatics so absolutely nothing would touch me. My daughter had to do the same. It took a bite out of our lovely evening.

I cited cases where women were attacked in ladies room by men using the ladies room.. You countered by saying there is danger in parking lots for women. DUH? Did you get enough sleep? |

BOTH of your examples, were of attacks in multiple stall, public restrooms...without main door locks. This entire thread, has dealt with SINGLE use restrooms (with locks)...and whether or not they are safe. In your desperation, you have tried mixing apples and trucks...and I've simply set you straight. You're welcome. Last edited by ColdNoMore; 02-25-2020 at 02:45 PM. |

I completely agree. Both men and women use the same bathroom at home. Is this a cootie thing or just what you were reared when it was not prevalent?
