Will your son be able to play TV executive courses if he's not paying the amenity fee?

But what would you do for recreation? You'd be living in the middle of nowhere unable to use any of TV amenities.

Well, won’t be the “middle of nowhere” in a few short years. There are lots of things planned for Middleton - true you wouldn’t have access to the golf courses, clubs and pickleball courts within The Villages, but you would have golf cart access to the town squares, walking trails, restaurants, plus performances at the Sharon and Savannah - that’s why I said “semi” Villages experience - would be a great “intro” to some of The Villages experiences before turning 55, and then later gaining access to everything, once you moved into the “regular” 55+ villages once you turned 55. I think Middleton is great for those in that target “demographic” - plus if they have school-aged kids that qualify to attend the charter schools, they’ll be getting an A+ education.

Moving into Middleton does not give access to the Charter School. One parent must work or own a business in TV.

True. You would also have access to the championship courses. In fact, if you plan to only play the championship, it almost makes sense to move there because most of the ametity fee goes toward maintaining the executives. Even if you are over 55. Hhhmmmmm

No. Not even as a guest, as guests have to live a certain distance away in order to receive a guest pass...

"Guests of Villages’ residents whose home address is outside Lake, Sumter and Marion counties are eligible to use selected Villages’ resident amenity-supported recreational facilities. An original Villages guest ID card is required for all guests 1 year of age and older."

EDIT TO ADD: "A resident who has a son, daughter, grandchild or great grandchild (and their spouses) who reside in Lake, Marion or Sumter counties may apply for an in-area guest ID card.

The in-area guest ID card for qualified family members is valid for one year from date of issuance."

Championship courses are available, as are the local public courses...

Middleton with have it's own pools, tennis/pickleball courts, as well...

Family members can get an in-area guest pass

You are correct. I missed that part. The "family member" passes are good for 1 year...

Thanks for the correction!

There are 4 other family friendly communities in The Villages, built by The Villages builders. This is definitely not the first!

Getting to disney world/MCO in under an hour is hardly the middle of nowhere. Lol Not to mention Middleton will have their own downtown area and will be really close to Eastport. I don’t think Middleton residents will care too much about no being able to play golf with the Villagers. They’ll have everything they need within walking distance. They’re young, remember.

Those are different. Employees of TV have areas they can build houses but they aren’t their own little towns.
