Default Missing incoming calls on my cell here in TV

I have a LG Marquee cell phone (smartphone) and use Boost Mobile service that is partnered with Sprint. For some reason, my phone does not always ring with incoming calls nor does it always notify me when I have a voice mail.

I don't know who to call about my problem...Boostmobile?, LG?, Sprint?

Does anyone else have this problem? I'm missing a lot of calls and don't realize it until I check my call and/or voice mail log...sometimes many hours later.

Cell phone service inside The Villages can be very spotty. I used to have AT&T and had reception problems. Now I have Boost (Sprint) and still have problems. In both cases the southeast corner of the park was quite bad. Inside my house in the northwest corner of the park I sometimes have to go outside to have a good connection.

I think the owners of the park must have been reluctant to permit the proliferation of cell towers that are needed for good coverage of the park. I recently noticed that it appears that cell phone antennas are being mounted on a couple of the park water towers. Perhaps things are about to get better.

Verizon offers their a customer a repeater/booster for inside the customer's home to assure good coverage inside the house. Others may also do this; I don't know.

You might want to check with Sprint and ask what kind of coverage they claim they provide for The Villages and see if they are planning any improvements in the future.

Let me know if you do; I would be interested in the answer.

There is no specific area that I'm not getting a "ring" when a call comes in. It happens everywhere and I'm not happy about missing calls.

Do you leave the phone on 24/7? If so, sometimes it just needs to be shut off to reset whatever gets out of whack, like a computer. A friend of mine has that problem and shutting it off occasionally fixes the problem.

Thanks. I'll try that.
