Default Where else to buy framed art?

We have been to just about everywhere in the area for traditional framed art for our wall decor. Are there any others? We have been to Picture You, Kings Gallery, Michael's, Kirkland's, Hobby Lobby, Pier 1, Cindy's and most furniture stores. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Don't know what your taste is, but the flea market at Marion has a large selection of pictures and frames. They do the framing right there while you wait or browse the market.

What is your idea of traditional? I purchased palm tree art @ Bealls and their outlet stores. I also purchased art at the various art and craft shows that are held in the villages. I use Michael's and their coupons for framing when needed.

Am now hunting for renderings of 'historical' florida such as the old hotels, buildings, gardens, etc - from st. augustine, the keys, palm beach, miami, ybor city, etc. I love the hunt - it takes me to great flea markets and interesting shops off the beaten path.

Our taste in art is so individual….

If you want something original,we have wonderful working artists, photographers and artisans living in TV and surrounding areas. TV has art shows and craft fairs throughout the year.

The surrounding areas have shows as well.
There will be a large art fair in Mt.Dora this coming February.
There is online info on Mt.Dora, if that interests you.
The Daily Sun lists local art events.

Crate and Barrel, Frontgate, ZGallerie, Horchow are a few reliable online options to peek at for ready to hang pieces, as well as Art.com, or Art Posters.com where you can order prints and frames in whatever dimensions you want.
Gosh, you can Google any subject matter (say, Flamingo Art, or Poppy Art for example) and find it!

I have seen some nice pieces at some of the consignment-furniture stores as well. There is a cool little shop in downtown Wildwood, around the corner from The Cotillion Cafe. That one is a treasure trove for decor accessory pieces!

Both Pier One and Kirklands have art on line that is not in the stores. Many times if you find something you like you can have it shipped to your home for free and return it to the store if it doesn't work out. I found it very difficult to find something I like also. Sometimes looking through some design magazines can give you an idea of what would look good.

I have 3 really beautiful framed art work that was purchased from Babbetts, we down sized and they will not fit in our Court Yard Villa.

I cannot post them here, however call me @ 352-753-8371 if interested, they are in perfect condition, and a bargain.
