Default Model Train Show

Went to the model train show at Colony Cottage today. My family and I were delighted by the trains and the displays. My grandchildren and from what I could tell other people's grandchildren loved the show. Many of the adults were also reminded of their childhood and the trains under the Christmas tree. Thanks to the Model Train Club Club of The Villages for such a wonderful Christmas gift to all of us.

And the guy (John?) that built a model of his wife's home town (College Point, Queens) wins the prize for authenticity. Great job.

I worked in College Point for many years and I must say the detail of the streets and the lay of the land is spot on. Very well done!

Wish we could have seen it but, we're still up north. If this is a annual show we will definitely come by to see it next year.

How long will this train show run?

Saw the show last year and it is definitely worth the time and effort to see the train layout. It brought back fond memories of me and Dad setting up my Lionel train set. Thanks for sharing with us!

I hope it will be here through the 27th when our son in law who does model trains will arrive.

It ended yesterday. The train show at Colony Cottage was for 4 days, last Thursday through Sunday.
