Has anyone ever had a problem with mold or any chemicals in your home ??? My wife and I have both developed tremors in our hands, about the same time and same intensity. Or perhaps you know someone who can check a home for mold or chemicals. Please respond to bjwdk1@embarqmail.com

OP, sorry for your problems. If you have the typical AC system, it has a setting to control the humidity level in the house, which in turn will control the possible growth of mold. I am hoping you have checked with your primary care doctor regarding the tremors, I have no medical background, so I would expect they would provide some indication of what might be causing your problems.
I have used Frank DeAngelo (ToTV advertiser) for our home inspection, give him a call, and if he cannot help, I am sure he will have a suitable recommendation.
Have you been in the house for a long time? Is it a new house, if so, with the weather being so nice, try airing it out.

A tremor is really a neurological thing usually associated with some sort of nervous system disease. I would go to a neurologist pretty quickly. Once these things get established, they are difficult to stop.

It is doubtful that it is due to mold. Mold usually causes lung issues.

It could be a household chemical but most would not cause neurological issues. The exception would be pesticides. It is a remote possibility that someone put way, way, way too much bug killer in the house before you bought it. If your house is new, that possibility is very, very small.

I do not believe that you will be able to find a do-it-yourself test kit to assess for a wide enough array of pesticides to find what you are looking for. The kits probably are not able to look for 50 different things all at once.

I would not try to figure this out by myself.

It is very strange that it is effecting both you and your wife. People, usually have different reactions and tolerance to pollutants.

You do not say if you recently moved to the Villages. If, you have a newly built home or? In the interest of economy these homes are very tight. There is very little fresh air coming in so anything from glue to cleaning chemicals could be causing issues.

BOTH YOU AND YOUR WIFE SHOULD CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY. FIRST YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS BEFORE YOU TRY TO SOLVE IT.
