Default Tamarind Grove Green Space.

That's what the area around the pool is designated. Despite 2 notices on the bulletin board (1 from the developer/owner, and 1 from the VCDD) indicating specifically that the area is NOT to be used for dog walking, people constantly drive up in cars and carts and unload their pooches for a walk. Does nobody read the bulletin board? Do they choose to ignore the rules set out by the district and the wishes of the owner? Perhaps a few citations for trespassing will solve the problem.

The pool area and mail stations are not dog parks. Every one has their own space, use it to toilet your dog. Dog owners have "rights" and so do the non dog owners. The "green space"
can't be used because of the dog traffic and the affects of using the grass as a toilet. Besides the barking and extra cart/car traffic.

Does nobody read the bulletin board? Yes, they do.

Do they choose to ignore the rules set out by the district and the wishes of the owner? Yes, they do.

Perhaps a few citations for trespassing will solve the problem. I doubt that a citation will be issued. In my opinion, even if a few people were cited, those that weren't cited will return as usual. Sad, but true.

I was just at the TG mail stop and I couldn't find a bulletin board, where is it? I didn't look in the pool area, is that where the board is? Or are you referring to some online bulletin board? I don't own a dog, so I've never investigated this before.

I know walking your dog is not allow because about 4 or 5 months ago Community Watch was camped out at the mail stop for a couple of days and told people not to walk their dogs. However, since they've never installed a sign and they no longer patrol the area, I guess owners have gone back to their old habits.

I'm not trying to be smart, but how would you use the area? When I first moved to TG 3-1/2 years ago my neighbor and I used to go to the area and play catch, since we were both trying to get back into the game and it was a lot closer than driving all the way to the ball fields. It was almost too small an area for that use, especially with all the large trees. I guess having picnics would be the only logical use, but both Sterling Hgts and Fish Hawk Rec Centers are nearby and have picnic pavilions.

It's located on the east side of the postal station.

I just took this off Google Maps. The front of the building is where I would think it would be located, that's facing northeast. So you're saying it's to the left where the big over-flow boxes are, that would be the south or southeast side. My mail box is on the right side, haven't been on the left side in ages. I'll check that out, I guess I must be like most dog owners, never knew or saw a bulletin board before because I just never go around there.
