Premier Villages. I think there are five of them. Not to be confused with Premier neighborhoods.

People are very judgmental and no the once wave habit is going away! The mass production of housing units south of 44 has bright on a very in cohesive bunch. Whatever it was supposed to be is no longer.

Wow if I knew there was a hysterical section I would have purchased there! Not enough laughter where I am!

True!

I also forgot about housing the house-staff, pool-boy and the gardener.

It's easier if you sleep with them. And I do. But not the grass cutter. The guy who cuts the bushes is my main squeeze. He also can cook.

Hopefully he does not do windows...............I hear you are trying to keep him off ladders.

It all depends on how do you define “the other half”. In my experience those that consider themselves “the other half” reside in their minds!! There are some “entitled” villagers as anywhere else in the world, but they are far and few between. In my 8 years living here I’ve found that, regardless of prior life and current residence in the villages, respect and friendliness is the majority characteristic of villagers. Be humble and respectful and you will be happy anywhere!

Conservation Trail in the far SE section north of Hwy 44 is my favorite.

Greetings again-

I sincerely appreciate "almost" everyone's responses and I sincerely never meant to upset anyone with my original inquiry as to which areas here in The Villages are considered the most desirable. Excluding some "minor" areas in the northern area, all of The Villages appear lovely to me.
As a newbie and since I haven't as of yet had the opportunity to drive throughout the entire area, I was just seeking guidance to which areas others here consider the most desirable.
Once again, thanks for your opinions...

FG...............you did not upset anyone.
99% of the posters understand your inquiry.
1% are jerks about everything.

Like I said..........when you are driving around, wave.

Asking this question has nothing to to do with being a newbie. I think it is an appropriate question to ask of someone you are getting to know. It shows you have an interest in them, and people love to talk about themselves. Try reading the Dale Carnegie book "How to Win Friends and Influence People".

I later found out one guy was our State Senator, and a former Commander of a Fleet of Submarines and his buddy was a graduate of Annapolis and a former Marine Fighter Pilot. We never talked about work when we golfed, and I never asked. I found out who they were when I saw one of their pictures in the paper.
