Sure... But when I suggest it (dogs at restaurants), all hell breaks loose...

And some of the big movie openings were sold out. At every theater they had one of these.
They are a BUSINESS, it IS about profit. And you stated the golf courses lose money, NOT. Get your facts straight!

Default Barnstorm Theater

I wish that they would turn the Barnstorm into a cinema and drafthouse.
They could show the old classics for cheap and make a killing off of food and drink.

Who wouldn't want to watch Casablanca and Gone with the Wind on the big screen again ?

They had some of the movies at the Rialto. I remember winning some kind of contest for a free ticket to the movie [I]Gone with the Wind. Or maybe it was a raffle.

They did show various older movies at movie festivals at the Old Mill Playhouse and the Rialto but when I was there at the theater there were usually very few people.

They did do better with the Polo Field Golf Cart movie showings.

I will wait until I can rent it online although I love the big screen and acoustics.

However, I am 10 min from Brownwood.

Developer: PLEASE REOPEN THIS THEATRE. WE HAVE THOUSANDS MORE PEOPLE SOUTH OF 44 AND WE NEED THIS THEATRE.

I just don't get it. It is already there and had been in use until Covid. It will bring people to Brownwood square to spend $ at the restaurants etc. You have tons of golf courses but here is something we really need and you only have a movie theatre in Sumter landing.....
You will be able to purchase a digital copy of Oppenheimer for $19.99 on November 21.

I have my order in. Have not seen it nor Barbie yet. But doubt if I will watch them back-to-back.

That is a great idea. There are so many classic movies that would be wonderful to see on a big screen with that beautiful sound system. Actually, I would like to see the theater in LSL showing the old classics and the Brownwood theater for first run movies. Brownwood is a newer theater and the seating is nicer.

If there was a market for old classics to be shown on a big screen they would already be showing it. Sorry.

Personally would love to see the original King Kong on a big screen.
