I'm having some work done in my home and will need more touch up paint. It's the builder's "Bisque" color. I took what I had left to get it matched at Lowes and they told me they can never match that color up perfectly and sure enough it's off. Has anyone had any luck getting a good match at any other stores? Thanks!

They are using Sherwin-Williams paint, the color should be listed in your closing documents, if not call the warranty department they may have the information.

Sherwin Williams has the color match on their computer. Check with warranty get the exact name and manufacturer and they can match it exactly. They have been matching colors for us for over 50 yrs.

It's incredible the detailed information they have on file, even on old houses.

The age of your house will determine where your paint came from. My house was built in 2013, and at that time The Villages used Florida Paint (Pinellas Plaza). Simply give the sales person your lot number, and they can tell you the color. Again, it will depend on when your house was built. A call to Home Warranty will solve the issue. As a side note, The Villages went from oil based trim paint to latex, as well as switching to using semigloss on exterior masonry (prior to this it was a flat finish).
