Default Cool (Thermally) Summer Locations

I know that many people have second homes to get away from the summer heat. I would like too know, if you wanted a second home as close to TV as possible, to get away for the summer, where do you go? Thank you for any suggestions.

rented a cabin for a month in the NC mountains - Georgia mountains are beautiful as well, but might not be cool enough.

Per Mark Twain - San Francisco in the summer.

(I worked on a construction site on Ocean Beach, SF for three years and wore a winter coat every day)

Either coast. The temperatures are cooler (5-10 degrees) and it is not that far away.

High Temps on Norcal coast and further north are usually around 65 in the summer, maybe 25 degrees cooler than TV. We stay about 60 miles inland and the average high temp in summer is 95, but low humidity.
