Default Mow'in UR Yard in the Rain??

If U pay for ur lawn to be mowed & edged once a week, would U like them to come & mow when it's raining?

I mow my own yard, edge & weed-eat it. But NOT in the rain!

What difference does it make? You're not on a schedule. They are! I mow my own and have been caught in the rain and finished it. But, no I wouldn't have started in the rain, but I don't have to do more than 1 yard per week.

U R right. NO schedule here. The wife say's> She don't care if it take's two days too mow the yard. I like that cause I can go play golf before I mow the next day. I'll mow the front just to make it look good, then mow the side's & the back the next day IF it don't rain.

Mowing when it's wet is not good for the grass. It tears rather than cuts cleanly.

First, my comment only pertain to one's own yard! A day in the hot FL sunshine will really dry up dog poop. If mowed over, it will break up and provide fertilizer for the yard. With that said, I still will "Police" the yard before it is mowed, but if I miss a dried up dropping, it probably is not going to harm the grass.

What's funny is for 8 months we complained because of no rain and how brown the grass was getting. Now we have had a couple days of rain and are concerned cutting it wet may harm the grass blades and soften the dog poop. Just sayin.

How long does it take to mow postage stamp yard. I even seen guy with corner lot, Amit little bigger, he had riding lawn mower and the tires were weighted down, maybe if he pushed or at leashed walked behind self propelled he wouldn't have most of his medical problem? Some times you have no choice but to mow wet grass. I sure if I had business with avid complainers, it's damn if you do and damn if you don't.
