Default Just today south of 44

I took out this first sentence, because clearly it triggered some.

Just today, there was a motorcycle on the multimodal path near the Lake Deaton bridge, a golf cart driver too lazy to use the correct path out of Cason Hammock and driving around the rotary at St Cats in order to get to the multimodal path, and a golf cart driving along the walking/biking path in St Cats.
Be careful out there, folks, they live among us.
And apparently a car on the brownwood bridge

How do you know they were snowbirds? Did they have the sign around their necks?

Op the motorcycle had a Florida plate, so most likely not a bird. Even in the dead of summer you get a cart that ends up in the roundabout every once in awhile. Third time that I know of a car, or truck has crossed the Brownwood Bridge since opening that December

Birds don’t scare me nearly as much as the little lady today looking through the steering wheel, (Florida plate) driving 13 mph, while her tires scraped the curb.

The drivers hasn’t changed that much since 07, except speed has become the norm for most drivers, lawn companies, FedEx, and UPS.

First I was wondering as well how they knew they were snowbirds, did you ask them. I thought there was a post at the Brownwood bridge that would block cars, maybe they ran it down. Was the cart on the rotary street legal? To get on the walking paths you have to get around the double posts but to be fair, I always feel that these should be golf cart paths as well since they are identical to all the other cart paths. As for the motorcycle, I guess if they are only going 20 but I just don’t know. Is it a full moon? Crazy day.

I think you need a few more winters , then buy yourself a nice full length mirror and check out the issue closer.

I guessed they were snowbirds because I've been driving my cart daily and have never seen the sheer volume of stupidity that has been happening until recently.

Add an SUV!! Going on the multi modal path out of Brownwood. Dear Lord.

The golf cart on the rotary should have plates if it's street legal, shouldn't it?

So, you knew they were Snowbirds and not simply "new residents who hadn't learned the rules of the MMPs yet, and were living in the new section" how?

Not snowbirds. Clearly the issue is traffic fatalities will decrease proportionally as the amount of lemons imported increases. The attach graph is proof with an astonishing R square of .97, an almost perfect correlation. Do your part buy more lemons and make lemonade do not boycott snowbirds !

To me, that seems like a reasonable thing to do and you will probably see many people do that in the future.

Since the speed limit in a roundabout (or rotary) is 20 mph and golf carts can attain that speed, I don't think the cart driver was doing anything unsafe.

Maybe snowbirds can spot other snowbirds.

Oh I believe I found another correlation. Volume of stupidity increased when the golf cart bridges across rt 44 opened.

Wow. Really? Justifying that?
How about the St Johns people wanting to go to Brownwood? Can they just cut across the rotary instead of backtracking to Waterlily until the other section is complete?
