Default MVP opener, Remote Keypad?

Has anyone ever found a keypad that will work with the MVP opener that many have in The Villages. I have not been able to find any online. Has anyone found a source or am I just out of luck?

You're out of luck. MVP is no longer a company and is not manufactured. Try looking for a used one, no other brands will work with MVP either.

I keep hearing about these MVP opener issues and I don't get it. Most MVP's work on 318 MHz and there are universal remotes out there, that should work with that. You also should have the option to install a Universal Receiver kit, which will work with just about anything.

Am I missing something here?

The codes that are transmitted may be very different, I have multiple devices that operate on these same frequencies and do not interfere with each other as the codes are different.

I second eBay. Got mine there. Easy to set code.
