People, can we react less extremely?
The OP has a problem that affects daily life. The neighbor may think their fence solved all their dog problems. Suggest to OP: You can complain on here, but why not talk to the neighbor and find out if they are unaware or if they just do not care? |

OP, sell your house. Market prices are up and I don't see this ending happily. Dog lovers :doggie: living next to dog haters never work out. :ohdear: |
Wow! With all the worlds problems. Do you know your neighbors? Do you talk to them? Anything in common? Do you play cards with them? Reach out. Make friends. I doubt that there are many people in the Villages who truly want to PO their neighbors.
It should not get down to considering moving unless their is more than dog poop. |

I don't think people understand, it is not only the smell, but it also attracts rodents! Same with all that dead fruit under your fruit trees. PICK IT UP PEOPLE!!!!
|
Dog poop attracts rodents? No, they are attracted by food and they do not eat that stuff.
Flies, yes but not rodents. |

The reality is I don't think there is much you can legally do other than ask them to pick it up more often because of the smell. It is their yard. I'm guessing they do their own lawn since most lawn services insist poop be picked up. |
Perhaps you should speak with the dog(s) directly. See link for how to approach the situation.
