Default Name and address cards

We noticed several people have had cards made up with their contact information on them. Does anyone know where to get them made?
We tried Staples but they weren't much help so we left. We went to Market Night last night at LSL thinking there might be a booth there selling them but there wasn't.
We plan on asking the next time someone offers us one but thought we might find out sooner here.

We ordered ours online. You design it yourself.

We have used Vistaprint (vistaprint.com) for years, for both our business and for our personal (Villages) cards. It is a huge company, but it allows them to deliver a quality product at a very low price. We have never been disappointed with any of the products we have ordered from them. Of course you have to be comfortable shopping and ordering online.

You can buy the business card templates at Staples or Office Max and print your own with a standard printer.

VistaPrint is definitely the way to go. Only negative is you'll get an email at least once a week about specials -- the plus is that you'll end getting offers to get 250 cards free; just pay the shipping (about $5.00).

Yes, just buy the card stock and the software (Avery) is free.

We get ours from one of the vendors at Market Night. He has lots of designs to choose from and you can design your own if you wish. Last year the set-up charge was $5 and it was $5 for 100 cards and available the next night. The nice thing is that if you change your phone number, address etc, the set-up charge is waived if you want to order more. I plan on going there when I first arrive this year and hopefully he is still there. He also sells t-shirts with designs so that may help locate him.

Douga is right. There is a person at the Market Night who does name cards. I've gotten a card from him but seems to have lost it. Am sure if you go to the Market Night and ask other vendors, they can tell you. I am hoping to make one next time.

I got 250 cards free from Vistaprint in a much nicer design than I could have created myself, and didn't have to go to all that trouble of designing and printing them.

I forgot to mention that the customer service at Vistaprint is the best for any company I have ever worked with. Years ago, when I ordered my company's first business cards, I was not pleased with the print quality of my first batch of cards (and this was a very big order!). It was probably my fault for OKing the online "proof," but thought I should let them know anyway. I contacted their customer service the day the cards arrived, they told me to keep the original batch, made the improvements I wanted, and had them sent out priority--and never charged a dime extra. They also gave me a decent credit towards my next order. You just don't see this type of customer service anymore.

By the way, I just went to their site and ordered some beautiful, personalized Season's Greeting cards (with a photo I selected) for less than I could have bought generic cards at the Hallmark store.

Vista Print seems to be cheaper than ink for doing it yourself!

Passing out personal cards is simply a great idea, especially for me, as I am the worst (THE WORST) at remembering names. Do people actually use these cards in TV? If so, I'm a big fan. And do people put photos on their cards? It sure would be nice to have both a photo and a name . . . .

Thanks for all your replies. We were able to find them at Market Night in Spanish Springs tonight. We couldn't find them last night because he is at Spanish Springs Mon. and Wed. and at LSL on Thursdays.

We decided to go that route rather than Vistaprint because they designed the card right there for us in about 5 minutes and we can pick them up tomorrow night in LSL.

Thanks again for all the help which this board is the best for.
