A while back someone posted that the old El Santiago bar and restaurant was going to simply be used as a storage facility for Villages equipment. Just wondering if that, in fact, was it's fate?

Watched part of the reply of the Mark Morse State of The Villages presentation on VNN recently and he emphatically stated maybe three times that they have no plans for this facility at this time. It is currently being cleaned up but once done they have no plans.
(I would add to that at least no plans that they are publicly discussing.)

Too small for a recreation center. Too much investment for a viable resturant.

How about making it another library like Mark Twain?
