Default NAS Landscaping

Watch out for this landscaper.

In mid December I hired this company the owner being Nathan Stafford, to trim my hedges and put down new pine mulch. They did a good job so I spoke to them about doing some landscaping in the back of my home. They gave me a good price and I agreed with it. Within two hours of calling them I had a bit of buyers remorse because of the holidays and called to postpone the job until after Christmas.

The next morning Nathan showed up on my door advising me that he had bought the plants and two mini palm trees the night before. He said he could return the plants but not the trees so could he put them in for $150.

I said I didn't have enough cash in the house to cover that and he offered to accompany me to an ATM. Needless to say I declined that offer. An hour later he came back and I paid him the price. My little voice told me not to prepay but
I was a fool and I did.

Needless to say it is now mid-January and I do not have the trees. Numerous phone calls have gotten me nothing but lipservice. I know I'm never going to see the trees or my money but I thought I would warn the community. Watch out for this guy.

By the way his associate is Justin/Dustin-not sure of the name. Nathan advised me that he is bipolar and often doesn't take his meds. Watch out.

That is so unfortunate. It is terrible of these types of workers to take advantage of honest folk. I know I got less than good service from a driveway paver contractor. She did do a good job on the driveway but never came back to finish the second sand application. When I was paying her in full she said "Don't worry I will come back in a few days after this first sand application settles. Here it is weeks later and many phone calls and she hasn't come back. I guess you get what you pay for. She has done a lot of driveways below 466A but it looks like she has gone downhill.

In regards to a landscaper I got better this time and went with a professional landscaper who has an actual business address and insures his workers properly. Mansfield Landscaping did an outstanding job for me. Their plants were very healthy and their workers were hard working and very competent. Steve Mansfield requires no money at all until he is completely finished and you are fully satisfied with the job. His price was very reasonable too! No more unprofessionals for me!
